Chlorination is the term used for the disinfection of water systems using chlorine. We will fill your water system with a water and chlorine solution and after a period of time we will flush it, once test results come back from the laboratory stating your water system pipework is safe and ready to be connected to the mains, the water company will connect you.

The chlorination certificates are needed to provide the local water board the information needed to make sure that you have had all of the required testing and cleaning that you have need before your water system is connected to the water company's mains network.

Without this certificate your local water board will likely refuse to have your new build or extension connected to the mains as there may be a chance that it will contaminate their water supply.
